We provide quality used and hard-to-find books likely to satisfy a wide range of reading and collecting interests. We also have a small but growing selection of new books and used audio books.

Prices on this site are at least 5% lower here than the prices we offer anywhere else on the Internet.

Most books here have scans of the actual book offered for sale, not stock publishers' photos.

Unless contraindicated, all our books have been cleaned, stickers removed and dust jackets protected with Brodart(tm) jacket covers.

Free Shipping!

We offer Free Shipping for purchases over $25.00. Offer is good for orders shipped to U.S. addresses. Books will ship using USPS Media Mail, our standard shipping method.

Our Shipping Practices

All books listed are in stock and ready to ship.

With rare exceptions, book orders with confirmed payment received by 2:00PM Pacific Time (GMT 22:00) Monday - Friday, will be shipped that same day. After this time, shipment will be the next business day. We usually also ship on Saturdays, but this is less certain.

A shipment confirmation email will be sent to you with all tracking information available. U.S. Domestic shipments will include delivery confirmation.

All customers, domestic or international, with questions about shipment options and delivery times, are encouraged to contact us.

Payment Choices

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards through our secure shopping cart. If you are concerned about the security of your information, we strongly recommend the encrypted checkout system. If you are reluctant to use this system, we can also take your information over the phone.

We also accept PayPal payment. If you choose this option at checkout, you will be automatically connected to PayPal's site with a linked invoice.

We also accept business and personal checks and money orders/cashiers checks. Until we know you, checks must clear before books are shipped. Checks should be made out to Brick Road Books.
